The 12 Volt John Deere Gator will turn heads, while letting your little one haul their toys in their large dump bed with opening tailgate. The 2-speed shifter with reverse allows them to drive on grass, dirt or hard surfaces.
Gators have come with many different gearboxes over the years. You will need to compare the motors and gearboxes shown in the Product Description of each of the motor packages to what you have to see if one of them will fit your Gator.
Based on customer feedback the Stage V Kit has been the best bang for its higher top speed gear ration and extra durability. Battery choice depends on budget and need for speed. With the Stage V Kit a set of 18v SLA batteries or lithium kit will give you 60% more speed but the SLA batteries will have 2-3x more run time than lithium. 24v SLA batteries will more than double your speed!
